Tree Swallow

The crew at Jackson Bottom Wetlands have erected houses on posts for swallows throughout the preserve. One of the trails takes you near a few of them. The first time I walked the preserve, I couldn't get a good shot of them at their houses, but this time I got some of a male and female in various poses at one of the houses. The top images shows a male just after landing atop the post on which the house was mounted. The middle image shows the female sitting on the edge of the house's roof. The bottom image shows both the male and female atop of the house. It looks like the male is scolding the female. :-)
