These pictures of a male Anna's hummingbird were taken at the Audubon Society of Portland's feeders. I had some trouble with focus on most all of these shots taken through the window at the feeders. I'm not sure if it was the window, slow shutter speeds or just how close they were causing a narrow depth of field. The metallic color of the pinkish red on the head and the green on the body glowed in the sun. However, if the sun light wasn't quite right the feather's color would change, even turning black, especially on the head.
