The service roads at TRNWR will be closed to the public for the Winter on Friday, so I took one of my last opportunities to walk on some of those roads today.The first decent picture opportunity I got was of a White-breasted Nuthatch in a large Oak on the path along the river. While I've seen many of these birds both as a youth and in the last six months, I've never gotten a good picture of one.
Even if you don't seen a Nuthatch, it's hard to miss them as they have a very distinctive call.
