Some Cackling Geese were standing on the berm around marker 12 of the auto tour at RNWR during my last visit. It was a great opportunity to get some close shots of these geese. As I was shooting the goose above it suddenly got annoyed by another and hissed at it just as I took a shot. They have pretty good sized tongues. Cackling Goose - Hissing
Some Cackling Geese were standing on the berm around marker 12 of the auto tour at RNWR during my last visit. It was a great opportunity to get some close shots of these geese. As I was shooting the goose above it suddenly got annoyed by another and hissed at it just as I took a shot. They have pretty good sized tongues. Most bird tongues I've photographed are usually thin.
