I'm pretty sure the two Gulls in the foreground are California Gulls. I base this conclusion on leg color (green yellow), beak coloration (yellow with red spot on lower mandible and remnants of black ring near tip) and dark eyes. I saw several different varieties of similar gulls at South Jetty a couple of weekends ago. Unfortunately, some are very similar and to make matters worse, some (Herring, Glaucous-winged and Western) even hybridize. So I've been slowly sorting through the many pictures, trying to get familiar with them and come to conclusions on identity.
The Gulls in the background are Heermann's Gulls.
